Patty > Senator Ben Westlund holds up the ballot title of Measure 48.

"No where in here does it say this measure creates a rainy day amendment. It's just another lie of the proponents in order to get your vote."
Patty > Sheriff Les Stiles holds up a sign from an earlier budget crisis in Deschutes County. The courthouses were forced to operate 4 days a week because there wasn't enough money to keep them open.

"If Measures 41 and 48 pass, we'll be right back there again," he said.
